Changing the Default Vista Explorer Window Size

"

After using Vista for a month or two, the single most annoying thing was that Windows Explorer kept opening in its default size, which is far to small, at least if you have a decent resolution. I finally got tired of it and googled for a fix. It turns out that if you shift click the close button on the window, it remembers that size for the specific folder you are currently in. So what you have to do is to:

- start explorer the way you normally do
- change the size of the window to the desired size, then
- shift click the close button in the top, right hand corner before you do anything else.

It should now pop up with the right size, from now on.
